Topics available for possible bachelor or master theses:
- Physics study of heavy ions, with measurements of quarkonia and open heavy-flavour in proton-proton, proton-lead, lead-lead, and SMOG (fixed target) collisions.
- Measurements of CP (charge-parity) symmetry violation through the study of B meson decays and measurments of fundamental parameters such as their lifetime.
- Search for rare decays and matter-antimatter asymmetries in B meson decays with 2 charm mesons in the final state
- Search for new phenomena in rare B meson decays into two leptons
- Search for rare decays and precision measurements in strange hadrons and hyperons
- Baryonic decays of B mesons and measurement of the absolute branching fraction of the Lambda_c baryon
